National Farm Toy Museum, Series 4 number 4 

´´The National Farm Toy Museum was established in 1986 when Dyersville 
Industries, Inc. and The Ertl Company entered into a joint agreement to build 
and finance the project. Dyersville Industries, Inc. was named owner of the museum,
and The Ertl Company agreed to provide five sets of Cockshutts over a five-year period
to finance the museum. These sets were prduced and sold and have grown in value.
In the fall of 1990, Dyersville Industries, Inc. made its final installment, payin off the
construction note as the fifth set was completed.

When the agreement between Dyersville Industries, Inc. and Ertl was made on 
the five sets, Ertl also agreed to provide one tractor per year as a
commemorative issue. The purpose was to provide the museum with a unit which would 
generate money to continue with growth and expansion plans, enhance displays,
and built onto the museum.
