The John Deere ´´530´´ was in essence, the final Model ´´B´´.
Allthough model number designations replaced letters in 1952,
the tractor occupying tghis position in the lineup continued with 
´´B´´ prefix part numbers, attesting to its heritage.

Through the years, from the time of its introduction in 1935, the´´B´´
series was the most popular lettered model ever built by John Deere. 
But, in later years, during the numbered two-cylinder model era of 1952-
1960, the tow larger general-purpose tractors took over as sales leaders.
This has only served to endear aficionados even more to the ´´530´´, one 
of the great prizes for any collection. The  tractor represented by this 1:16 
scale model is a well-optioned ´´530´´ with the Roll-O-Matic front end.
