John Deere Model E 
During the 1920´s Deere & Company began 
marketing a radically new engine design featuring 
a fully enclosed crankcase. It was also one of the first
farm engines to use an automatic oiling system.
The ´´E´´ series was built in 1,5, 3 and 6 horsepower
sizes. Because of its advanced design, this farm engine
was placed on a higher plane along with the automobile,
tractor and other modern power machinery.
